In other words, games are one of the few things which might buck the trend of Linux users be averse to buying software. That, and if theres one thing we know about Valve its that while they may take their time, its generally pretty polished by the time theyre done with it. And thats one of the few benefits I see in the uptick in Mac popularity. You want to make your game work on Mac OS X, then you have to write it to be able to use OpenGL instead of Direct3D, and write it with a Unix environment in general in mind.
