After installing, the service people told me to wait for the VOIP and Phone1 lights on the router to turn on and go stable. Its been more than a day now since the installation and the PON light is still blinking which, referring to the manual, means its still initiating the ONU, and the VOIP and Phone1 lights are still off. I am connected to the router by LAN and its being recognized already. The network is already set up, both 5G and Wi-Fi are on and they are seen on my computer, but when I connect to any of them, it has the No Internet status. Ive checked the local network interface of the router already and Ive logged in multiple times to check any settings but Im unsure if there is anything I should do. My friends who have had Fibr installed in their homes long ago told me that after the installation they were able to connect and use the new network immediately on the same day. Is there anything I should do Thanks to whoever reads this long post:) 14 comments share save hide report 50 Upvoted This thread is archived New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast Sort by best. Otherwise, guess it must be bad luck since theres an ongoing labor dispute within PLDT, and there were claims of sabotage of equipment. If Im not mistaken, routers nowadays is MAC filtered from the central office. In short: nag send na ng ticket request yung installer together with MAC and other info of your router, hindi pa lang naasikaso ng mga taga Central Office. Nung nagpakabit kami ng Fibr, di ko talaga pinauwi yung technicians ng PLDT until di na-a-activate yung connection. Pati na rin sa dami ng job order sa kanila. The next day (wala pang 24 hours), bumalik mga tech to configure and confirm kung okay na yung VoIP connection namin sa phone. After everything was setup, the technician just called PLDT fibr telling them to activate the account. We just waited 10mins with the technician then everything worked well, no problems ever since. What did you do to solve this Did you call PLDT about it I really dont know what to do. It took a few more weeks for us to get connected, just had to wait it out. Apparently, PLDT was going through this labor dispute and their services were quite unstable at the time which might be why it took so long. Im not sure about their efficiency right now, but you should check up on your line and call them as well to find out.
